Wiimote on the 360; More Likely Than You Think

What would you say if I told you that the 360 was getting a Wii remote of it's own? Probably laugh after throwing some blunt, heavy object's in my general direction. Well too bad, because apparently Microsoft has been investing quite a bit of time and energy (and money) into making it not only a possibility, but a reality.
MTV got the scoop on this twist of fate, learning that Microsoft has been working on it for nearly a year, and not just on the remote. Such functions that would be similar to Mii's (personal avatars) and others are making their way to the 360, supposedly for this generation of gaming. While probably no one, even at Microsoft, can confirm that this will stay on track for hitting the Xbox 360 ever, it's still one of those "holy mother of wtf is this" moments.
We'll keep everyone posted on where the hell this is going, if anywhere, ever, since we do know that Microsoft has also been looking deeply into getting the camera integrated into the next generation of consoles, but of course we still have almost nothing on that. How much they rip off Nintendo, whether it'll get any attachments like the nunchuk and if they'll have hand straps and a glove for it are things we'll all be thinking about real hard.
