Ghostbusters game: Co-op, DLC, and more

I swear, as God as my witness, I owned just about anything I could relating to the Ghostbusters as a kid. It was my quest in life to become a similarly affectionate, nerdy version of Egon, only without the lack of social graces. Fast forward about 15 years and I have only missed my mark by the slightest degree. With this in mind, it is no surprise that I am gleefully anticipating Ghostbusters: The Video Game.
Only recently we heard of its debut, but the Sierra Spring Break Conference has brought secrets I will gladly share. According to videogaming247.com, the game will stay authentically the same in terms of the ‘look and feel’ of everything bar a new script written by Dan Akroyd (Ray) and Harold Ramis (Egon). Even the wildly popular theme music will remain untouched, which is enough to quell the most skeptical fanboy. Jump for further details.
As far as developments in game play go, Terminal Reality, the game’s developer, hinted at exclusive DLC for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. Unfortunately however, the developer also announced no campaign co-op due to the risk of ruining both content and story progression. Don’t worry though; the game will still have a multiplayer component.
Ok, you broke my heart with the no campaign co-op thing, but you can still make it up to me. As long as I can play as Egon and you all add Rick Moranis’ character somewhere in the story; I will not boycott. Test me and I will light my Ghostbuster ambulance on fire and post it on YouTube.
