Halo 3's "Believe" campaign wins award

Turn on your T.V. and about every 7 minutes you'll see a commercial most likely touting a new car, some drug, or a local discounter. More often than not these ads will flash some pretty pictures and a catchy jingle. Rare however, is an ad that truly astounds us while leaving an impact. Rarer still is a video game ad that will do this.
Therefore, when one does comes around, a congratulations should be in order.

According to AdAge.com, last night The Advertising Club of New York did just that. Their International Andy Awards were given out with the top honor, the Grandy, going to the McCann San Francisco and T.A.G group effort on Halo 3's "Believe" campaign. The award is given to the most creative advertisements delivered on a global scale.

This comes with an additional tip of the hat from me seeing as how the ad was made using a 1,200ft diorama of action figures. Yes, a diorama, the same thing you used to depict a historic scene inside a shoe box with legos. Consequently, this ad also received the number nine spot in the most viewed TV/video spots of '07.
